Yogo teachers are teachers mainly in charge of health education, and health care and management of children in school. They are responsible for maintaining and promoting children’s health and ensuring sound development. In recent years, however, their role together with the presence of a healthcare room is increasing in significance as they are expected to take care of children’s psychological problems.

This course is a one-year program for school nurses. Those who already have a nursing license can obtain the license (category 1) for school nurses by earning the required number of credits in education, psychology, and school health. Therefore, students in this course are nursing school, nursing junior college, or nursing university course graduates. The enrollment limit is 40. Two full-time teachers specialized in clinical psychology and school healthcare respectively lead the Course.
